Don’t forget about the Yarrawonga Farmers & Craft Market (every 4th Sunday of the month), a strictly ‘Make it – Bake it – Sew it – Grow it market’. Yarrawonga-Mulwala Pioneer Museum
Step back into Australian history and explore one of the largest and most comprehensive exhibits of the early pioneering days of the district in Australia. The museum preserves local and rural history, and has a large display of cars, trucks, farming machinery, aircraft, war history, clothing and sports.
A highlight of the museum’s collection is a biplane built by local pioneer aviator Douglas Sloane in 1913, and has a fascinating story that involves the beginnings of the Royal Australian Air Force.
